Powerful timbre and a smooth and subtle game of parts.

Playing a single piano together is an opportunity to show how far the understanding between one musician and another can go, possibly achieving communion and synchrony of respective poetic intentions and not only rhythmically playing together.

This attitude is well present in the performance (live…). The two pianists presented a repertoire where the frequent and difficult technical passages were solved with great ease and brilliance and where the role play has always been smooth.

The two sisters often used a powerful and sumptuous tone to give us an image that is anything but dry and didactic.

They well know the style, especially of Debussy, the plastic strength of his form, the clarity of lines, and they play with amazingly freedom. Precisely in Debussy they didn’t miss the dream and the suggestive and imaginative vision of the fresh “Petite Suite”.

Endowed with extraordinary artistic talent and great magnetism, they possess exceptional expressive, technical and musical skills imbued with superb creativity and brilliant interpretation.

The Puiu sisters have once again confirmed themselves to be fierce, balanced, and reliable interpreters. Their performance was greeted by repeated and earnest applause from the audience (…).”

Timbrica possente e un gioco delle parti scorrevole e sottile.

Suonare in due l’unico pianoforte è un’occasione per mostrare a che punto può arrivare l’intesa fra un musicista e l’altro, se possibile fino alla comunità e sincronia delle rispettive intenzioni poetiche e non solo del suonare insieme ritmicamente.

Un atteggiamento questo ben presente nell’esibizione (… ).

Le due pianiste hanno presentato un repertorio dove i frequenti e difficili passaggi tecnici sono stati risolti con grande facilità e brillantezza e dove il gioco delle parti è sempre stato scorrevole.

Le due sorelle si sono servite spesso di una timbrica possente e suntuosa per darci un’immagine tutt’altro che secca e didattica.

Conoscono bene lo stile, soprattutto di Debussy, la sua plastica forza della forma, la chiarezza delle linee e suonano con sorprendente libertà.

Proprio in Debussy non hanno fatto mancare il sogno ed una visione suggestiva e immaginifica della fresca “Petite Suite”.

Dotate di uno straordinario talento artistico e di grande magnetismo, possiedono eccezionali capacità espressive, tecniche e musicali impregnate di creatività superba e geniale sull’interpretazione.

Le sorelle Puiu si sono confermate ancora interpreti agguerrite, equilibrate, attendibili e la loro prestazione è stata salutata dal ripetuto e convinto applauso del pubblico presente…”.
