The Masterclass offers pianists the new and fascinating artistic experience of playing a piano concert with an orchestra which cannot be seen, but heard! An essential, practical path, contributing to the complex education of pianists, through the extraordinarily effective help of a piano duo formation. Playing with a second piano is of great importance for deepening the solo and orchestral score, a fact that contributes to obtaining a coherent, balanced and convincing interpretation.

The specialization course is intended for young pianists, piano students, chamber music, jazz, composition, accompaniment of the National University of Music in Bucharest, students of Music Schools and Music Colleges in Bucharest.

ARE ACCEPTED PIANO AND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONCERTS from classicism, romanticism, post-romanticism, neoclassicism, french impressionism.

Possible concerts from the periods of baroque, expressionism, serialism, minimalism, aleatorism, symphonic jazz will be taken into account at the time of registration.

A Diploma of participation will be awarded to each student and pairs of pianists will be selected to perform the final Concert on two pianos. The Final Concert will take place in the Auditorium Hall of the National University of Music in Bucharest on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
